At last we managed to finish this water feature during the recent heat wave.
It is fed by the water in the upper Lake which flows 30m underground though 600mm diameter twin wall pipes
then runs out and down the constructed water feature.
Some of the rocks weighed two tonnes and were lifted and positioned with a 16 tonne excavator.
Topsoils were placed and landscaped around the feature ready for planting and also to cover over the pipe excavation area
to smarten this up and compacted.
We then put the pump into the infill pipe to run and flush water though and to see how everything was balanced and looked.
The client was delighted with the results and with our hard work under the conditions and we were extreamely pleased too.
