Finished Large Pond near Wellington

This new large pond was created and finished last year out of a leaking smaller pond and a disused read bed.
A HDPE liner was welded and installed insitu and the margins where the liner was keyed into the banks were disguised.
It looks no different to a natural pond without a liner, only that the difference is that in the summer months it will retain it's water levels.
The grass has just about re established and the water has now reached up to the outfall level.
It is now ready for planting just in time and waiting for the spring to arrive.
