100m stone and boulder retaining wall.

Bank and Flood retention wall.

The walling was created to hold back the embankment and to surve as to divert the water away from the garden and property. By excavating the bank away further into the hill gave more parking space for vehicles and a turning area. The wall was constructed from blockwork, concrete and steel and faced with local stone. Richard and I then placed large 1 tonne boulders ontop to retain the soils which were eventually planted up and seeded. There was a walk way contructed to gain access up to the hills of stepping stones next to the water feature. Then we regraded the road and track with scalpings.
